A Lanai Day Sail!

For visitors who are not early risers this Maui activity is for you. Enjoy gentle breezes and warm sunshine on your way to Lanai and spend an afternoon at Hulopo’e Marine Preserve – swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, playing beach volleyball, or take the guided tour of Lanai’s historic plantation town. This is the only company with permission to bring guests to this private and very special place.

The return sail to Maui can be restful and relaxing or wet and wild, but always lots of fun – and sailing into Lahaina at sunset can be the highlight of your vacation!  You’ll discover why this company has been a leading sailing company on Maui for 35 years!

Combine your sunset sail with a Marine Mammal Adventure and explore Lana‘i’s remote and dramatic coastline aboard the Manele Kai 32ft jet drive rigid-hull inflatable raft and look for one of Hawai‘i’s largest schools of Spinner Dolphins in these beautiful waters.

Included: Snorkeling lessons and equipment, lunch of assorted wraps and beverages served on board with Kiawe BBQ chicken feast served at Hale O Manele Pavilion (vegetarian meals upon request).

Wear/Bring: Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, hat and sunglasses, deck shoes or rubber sole shoes, sweater or light jacket.

A Family Favorite!

Four Winds II is a 55ft glass-bottom catamaran, a fabulously innovative funboat you will love. Once aboard, you’ll soon discover why this trip is certainly one of the best sailing charters to Molokini or the fascinating “Coral Gardens” (tradewinds dictate the daily destination). With a crew dedicated to your needs and providing you with absolute fun, this trip is a family favorite with locals and Maui visitors alike, offering something for all ages.

All trips include a marine naturalist who will be showing and narrating a video which has been filmed of your actual trip. The naturalist films passengers on board as well as passengersin the water and marine life below the surface. The video is shown on the trip back to the harbor and is available for purchase in various formats.

Included: Open bar of beer, wine and soda (alcohol served after snorkeling), all snorkel gear and instruction, waterslide, glass-bottom viewing, two spacious decks, three boarding ladders, large boogie boards equipped with view ports, fresh water shower.

Optional: BBQ lunch, SNUBA diving (like SCUBA but no tanks or gear to wear, it’s easy and there’s no certification or experience necessary).

Maui to Molokini Ocean Adventure!

Keep your eye’s open for Maui’s acrobatic spinner and bottlenose dolphins along the way to Molokini Crater.  They love to “bow ride” on the boat’s wake and pressure wave as you cruise along at a brisk 22 knots.  On route you’ll enjoy a delicious continental breakfast of fresh island fruit, pastries, bagels with cream cheese and jelly, coffee and juice.

Once at Molokini, your instructor will show you how to use your equipment whether you are going to snuba or snorkel , and go over some essential safety points. Then it’s into the water for some great Maui snorkeling…

After Molokini it’s on to “Turtle Arches” located off the Makena Coast where the green sea turtles are used to divers and will approach quite close. Its also be time to fix yourself a great deli-style lunch with a wide assortment of sandwich fixings!

Restrictions: 8yrs old for Snuba.

Included: Continental breakfast, deli lunch, bar (beer, wine, Mai Tais and soda), certified instructors, guided dives, snorkel and Snuba gear.

Ka’anapali Snorkel Tour!

Ka’anapali is the only location where guests are actually picked up and dropped off directly from the beach.  It is ideally located for enjoying the many ocean adventures offered including sailing, snorkeling, and whale watching.

With those famous Maui trade winds just a few hundred yards off shore, the crew wastes no time in hoisting sail and getting into some serious sailing!  Some of the best snorkel sites on Maui are only a few miles away and the crew will choose the best ones for the day.  During the winter months from December thru April visiting Humpback whales calf, breed, and frolic nearby.

A continental breakfast is served onboard with a great BBQ lunch prepared and served by crew.

Included: All the snorkeling equipment and instruction, wet suits for everyone onboard, breakfast, lunch, soda and snacks.

A Molokini Favorite!

The Four Winds II is a stable 55 ft catamaran with all the amenities – underwater viewing room, waterslide, onboard restrooms, spacious cabin for those seeking shade and a large open deck for the sun worshippers. As you head out from Maui, enjoy a continental breakfast (Kona coffee, tropical fruits & juices, bagels, jams and cream cheese) while you see sea turtles, and during whale season (from late December to early April) you’re often treated to spectacular whale watching!

Once the boat is moored in Molokini the “pool is open” and a crew member will lead a snorkel class for those who have never snorkeled or need a refresher. While you are in the water checking out beautifultropical fish the crew is firing up the barbeque for a delicious, hot-off-the-grill barbeque lunch!

Included: All gear (including optical masks) and flotation devices, barbeque lunch (hamburgers, marinated chicken breasts, veggie burgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings), open bar of beer, wine and soda.

Optional: Snuba, wetsuits, camera and film, onboard naturalist narrated DVD.

All Day Lanai Experience!

This exclusive all day sailing tour taking you across the channel from Maui to Lanai will create lasting memories for you. This journey recalls a time when Polynesian navigators sailed double hulled canoes from island to island and visitors were treated to the timeless traditions of hospitality, entertainment, and excellence!

Limited to a few discriminating guests, this all day Lanai ocean adventure is fast becoming one of their most popular excursions. A two hour guided historic and cultural island tour with a local Lanai guide brings the rich and unique history of Lanai to life.  Guests can stop in the old plantation town of Lanai City and browse around some of the quaint shops and art galleries that are bringing a more cosmopolitan look to this private island paradise.

Included: Cinnamon rolls, fruit, Kona coffee, tea, hot cocoa and pineapple juice. Lunch includes Kiawe grilled BBQ chicken (vegetarian meals upon request), salad and rolls, non-alcoholic beverages. Served on dinner plates with silverware.  Snorkel equipment and lessons.
