Tour Requirements

• Experience not necessary. Instructions, safety brief and equipment orientation will be provided before tour begins.
• Be sure your clothing and personal items will withstand the dirt, the mud, the water and the bouncing around!
• We will not be responsible for personal property.
• Long pants, shirts, closed-toe shoes are required for your safety (we provide mandatory eye protection and helmets).
• Rental clothing (shirt and pants are available for a $5 wash fee).
• Drivers must be at least 16 years old. 16 year old drivers must have an adult with a valid driver's license as a passenger.
• Children as young as 5 years old may ride as a passenger with a responsible adult or with a guide (based on availability).
• Pregnant women or anyone with heart, neck or back problems are not allowed to participate.
• Maximum weight per buggy is 500 lbs.
  
  Equipment: ’07 Yamaha Rhino
  • All two-seater vehicles.
  • 450cc automatic ATV Rhino.
  • 4-stroke, 4 wheel drive.
  • Automatic Transmission, Safety roll bar cage, 2 point and 4 point safety harness.
  • Weight capacity is 500 lbs. per buggy.
  Land:
  • 600 acres.
  • Tour goes up to 1800ft. above sea level.
  • Terrain of tour is rugged, with tight turns, rocky roads, mud puddles and a stream. Crossing when water level permits.
  • Trail is not paved, natural dirt roads.
  Conditions:
  • Definitely an off-road adventure.
  • Clients will get very dirty and possibly soaking wet (how wet they get is controlled by the driver and how they choose to drive through mud and stream).
  • Slight chance of rain, we do not provide raincoats or panchos.
  • Clients MUST understand that this is an off-road adventure and they WILL get dirty and wet!
  • We do not provide showers to get completely cleaned up. We have sinks and paper towels to wash hands, arms, and face.
  • From the time of check-in, the next available bathroom is 1 hour later. Bathroom is located at the “garden”.
  • Rental clothing of camo pants and shirts available for $5.00 wash fee. We do not provide shoes.
  • Recommend bringing towel for rental car.

  • They are independent from Kahoma Ranch Tours.
  Location:
  • Our address is: 2580 Kakaa Drive, Lahaina, HI 96761-Kaanapali Fairway Shops.
  • Check in at the Fairway Shops in Kaanapali at “Island Style Surf Shop”.
  • Kahoma Valley is a 5-10 min. drive from the shop. We are located two valleys to the left of Mt. Ball (The mountain with the letter L on it).
  • Guide picks up guests in a shuttle and shuttle them up to the barn in the mountain.
