HONOLULU CITY HAUNTS WALKING TOUR
Spooky Night Tour?
On this tour,
you’ll see several locations in downtown Honolulu where supernatural events are still happening today. From visiting the former residence of Hawaii’s monarchy, to the location of a terrible modern day murder, close encounters are always possible! This is approximately a one mile walk, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes.
Guests will be led by one of their ghost storytellers who will tell the stories
behind the spooky locations. Some places do not allow entry, so guides will stand outside the building or location and tell the story. Guests with cameras may be able to observe unexplained events at these sites. Sites visited includ Iolani Palace, State Capital Building, Alakea Street, Nuuanu Street and the Verizon Building!
Tips on how to enjoy your tour: Bring camera and wear comfortable walking shoes, comfortable clothing. Flashlight is an optional. As a courtesy to other guests, participants must remain with the group for the entire tour. The tour will not continue if any guests desert the group. In case of rain, bring your own umbrella or poncho or you may purchase one on the tour.
Camera tips: Catching a ghost
on film isn’t as hard as you think and cameras are effective tools to use to obtain evidence that ghosts do exist! Ghosts most often appear as orbs, balls of light, or mists so don’t be discouraged if you don’t get a human form in your pictures.
Not recommended for children the age of 6 and under. Children must be accompanied by adults.
Offered Daily
Tour time: 3 to 3 1/2 hours
